Elipson Planets Wireless Speakers
French Hi-End speaker company Elipson and Bluetooth manufacturer Parrot have teamed up to create “audiophile” wireless speakers. The joint development of the recently released Elipson Planets stereo system gets its name from the spherical shape of the speakers.
The power of each of the two-way speakers is 60 W, while the frequency response deviations in the range from 48 Hz to 20 kHz do not exceed ± 3 dB. To improve the characteristics in the low-frequency range, the bass reflex type of acoustic design was chosen for the enclosures. Each speaker reportedly includes a digital amplifier (Class D).
Planets are capable of working with any signal source that supports the Bluetooth A2DP standard, including PDAs, PCs with an appropriate adapter, and mobile phones. When powered on, the speakers detect each other and combine to work together. If you don’t have Bluetooth devices, it doesn’t matter – Planets also has an analog line-in.
The novelty is already available for orders, its price is 1000 euros.
