Apple to release Logic 8 today?

MacRumors website, citing an anonymous unverified source, reports that Apple will unveil a new version of its Logic 8 software for professional musicians today at NAMM 2021 in Anaheim, California.

The music pack got its last big update almost a year ago, on February 3, 2021, when the company released Logic 7.2 – the first version of the program that supports work on Mac computers with the then new Intel Core Duo processors. It should be noted that for the first time Logic 7.2 was demonstrated by the company precisely at last year’s NAMM exhibition a month before the release.

MacRumors notes that according to the official exhibition calendar, Apple is indeed participating in NAMM 2021, so information about the appearance of Logic 8 today looks very plausible.
