LG: New Line of Widescreen LCD Displays – Official
LG Electronics officially unveiled its first line of LCD monitors for the US market in 2021, announced a week ago. All products in this line are widescreen and are certified for use with the Windows Vista operating system.
The L196WTQ-WF (19 “), L206WTQ-WF (20”), L226WTQ-WF (22 “) and L226WA-WF (22”) monitors use LG Digital Fine Contrast technology to increase contrast up to 3000: 1. At the same time, the response time declared by the manufacturer is 2 ms, and the vertical and horizontal viewing angles are 170 degrees.
Proprietary ez Zooming technology, which allows users to quickly change screen resolution with a simple press of a single key, is a handy tool for displaying small fonts or images that need to be enlarged. All four monitors are equipped with a DVI connector with HDCP support and of course D-Sub. The L226WA-WF also features an AV input. Displays include f-ENGINE, “the world’s first image enhancement chip for monitors” that enhances brightness and color performance independently of each other.
This LG lineup for the US market also includes a 24 “FLATRON L246WP monitor, certified for use with Windows Vista. With a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1000: 1 contrast ratio and 8ms response time, this model also features HDMI and component connectors.
