What Rambus Shows at DesignCon?
The three-day DesignCon 2021 conference, one of the participants of which is Rambus, will end tomorrow in the USA. The exposition of the well-known developer of architectural solutions for memory subsystems shows recent achievements and new, promising projects. In particular, the XDR memory architecture and its recent implementation in the PlayStation 3 game console are shown. The Rambus exposition includes:
- XDR memory architecture capable of transferring data at 3.2-8.0 GHz. As an example of implementation, data transfer at a speed of 3.2 Gb / s using FlexPhase technology and octet read-write operations (Octal Data Rate, ODR) is demonstrated.
