While AMD / ATI is finishing work on its first DX10-compatible graphics accelerator based on GPU R600, its competitor NVIDIA is working hard to further widen the gap created with the release of the GeForce 8800.
The source says the next flagship processor from the Californian company, codenamed G81, will be manufactured using 65nm rather than 80nm technology. It will be manufactured, of course, at the facilities of NVIDIA’s partner, TSMC.
