The System Safety Monitor (SSM) utility allows you to monitor the activity of the Microsoft Windows operating system in real time and prevent unwanted actions from various malware and spyware. The main task of SSM is to prevent any application from performing malicious actions.
SSM monitors the activity of all running and launched applications and allows you to manage:
- which process can be started and which cannot;
- which child processes can be started from this process;
- from which parent processes this process can be launched;
- the process can be started or not, if it has been changed / modified / updated;
- whether a process can install a driver on the system;
- whether the process can perform Code-injection, and
- dynamic link libraries (DLL-injection).
- creating / deleting processes;
- suspension of the process and the continuation of its execution;
- viewing dynamic link libraries (DLLs) used by a process.
